Which accessories of iPod&iPhone can be compatible?
There are few iPhone accessories at the market especially outside United States until now , and some of their qual can also not be guaranteed.But many of the iPod accessory manufactures can produce high-qual good ,like USB cables ,chargers ,batteries,headsets ,and docks etc,and I even found this multifunctional eccentric

The iphone adds a new challenge to compatibility. The iphone creates interference caused by the data transmission to and from the iPhone.
That is why when you plug it into a compatiable, but not made for iPhone device, you get prompted to turn off phone and data functionality, so that it would interfer with the sound. You can always say No, but you’ll be annoyed my the noise.
The “Made for iPhone” devices that are supposed to be coming out soon will have special shielded components to guard against interference, and a special licensed “apple” chip so that you won’t be prompted when you plug in your phone.
