Outstanding Alternative to the iPhone

I was an iPhone / AT & T customers in the last two years since the first 3G version. The iPhone is a great device, but is hampered by the poor AT & T voice network, and 3G coverage uneven. As a former Verizon customer for years prior to that, I knew the voice quality and coverage was higher, but their text selection does not really compete with the iPhone, and I was stuck with the 2 year contract. I am happy to say that dumping the first contracts to return to VZW and the HTC amazing well worth it!

The HTC phone is incredibly fast – almost too fast because it responds rapidly to short films of my thumb. The optional optical joystick for navigation works well, in particular to avoid smudging extra touch screen. The seven page display HTC Sense is unique and has unlimited options for customization – The possibility of having functional widgets "vs. just application launch icons iPhone vs. make this stand out – and configurations default for more help guide to customizing your own configuration. The screen itself is bright, lively, and the highest resolution (compared to 3G) makes everything pop, you do "wow" when you look. The customization options are, the more you can customize to your heart content.

Seamless integration with Google mail / calendar, Facebook and Twitter, and although the synchronization capability Outlook calendar and contacts provides a new method of connecting the various contacts as well as simplified management of your contacts – for example, if I had in my Outlook contacts, and also as a friend on Facebook, and follow you in Twitter, HTC helps me tie these together, so your contact information on the phone allows me to interact with you without having to actually go to these various applications. I even like the fit of the phone in my hands – an iPhone (no file) still feels like it's going to slip out of my right to enter, but where the incredible appears to "stick" to my fingers, and I never feel like going to pass through.

The camera is a world better than the iPhone 3G. The photos are clear, and colors are faithful to reality. The LED flashes to work well. The only drawback is pushing the optical joystick to take a picture – same problem with iPhone. A button on the side of the phone would be preferable.

If you're worried about applications, there is no need. Almost all the applications I had on the iPhone has a version in the Android market, or at least one other application that is quality equal / function. The market is more cumbersome to use because it is only available in the phone interface – a store to browse and make their shop via the web on my computer, similar to how the application functions in the iTunes store would be a big plus to find applications and much more easy. The phone interface is quite functional, but try to compare and choose between similar applications work better on the computer. ** Update ** Thanks to a comment, I found [...], which looks like a good solution for that!

If you're tired AT & T network and / or the iPhone, the incredible non-profit institutions is certainly a prospect to investigate. I give a hearty thumbs up! 4 stars incredible for the HTC itself, because it can use some software improvements, especially on the market, and 5 stars for the voice VZW and data network (but one star for poor documentation continues the VZW phones they provide).
