The manufacturer of the popular iPhone game viral Tap Tap Revenge is to use pirated versions of his game to sell music to download illegally. So far, Tap Tap Revenge reported about 2.5 million downloads. Of all these downloads, about one million of them were pirated copies. Instead of languishing in a potential loss of profits, producers of Tap Tap Revenge is creative. They found a way to market music to people who otherwise would not pay all. With the ability to buy music from within the game, the company soon found unexpected sources of sales.
Ultimately, everyone got what they wanted. legitimate clients bought the software and used it without having to jailbreak their phones for the pirates became so enamored with the game they had to purchase some of his music.
