Will I be charged for connecting to a wireless home network in the US with my Orange UK iPhone?
I’m going to the US for five weeks and I’d like to use my iPhone while there.
I’m staying at my girlfriend’s house and she has wireless internet. I’m currently connected to my own wireless network while at home – mostly to reduce any needless use of my data allowance and to take advantage of faster speeds.
My question is: Will I be able to connect to her wireless network and will I be charged for it?
I know using wifi in the UK is free but if I’m abroad and connected to a home network…does it cost me anything?

No charge at all, your iphone is simply a device similar to a laptop in this instance, and you wouldn’t be charged for using your laptop on her wireless network. You are not using the mobile network to connect to T’internet
